The Kardashians are always in the headlines, so much so that it seems like they have taken up permanent residence there. In fact, it’s difficult to think of a day when they don’t make front-page news and unfortunately it’s even harder to think of a time where they haven’t been there for a negative reason.
In recent years, the klan’s two youngest members, Kendall and Kylie Jenner have been veering closer and closer to the spotlight that their older sisters have dominated for so long. Kendall is an established model, walking the runways of Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel amongst other recognisable fashion houses. And Kylie has proven herself to be quite the entrepreneur, her line of eponymous “Lip Kits” have been an incredible success, often selling out in minutes, they allow the reality television stars’ fans to replicate her signature beauty look.
But in their short-time in the limelight, the sisters have run into quite a bit of trouble. Earlier this year Kendall Jenner was forced to apologise over her role in a controversial Pepsi advertisement. The advert was criticised for downplaying the importance of demonstrations and activist culture seen in the Black Lives Matter movement. In the advert, Jenner is seen solving the complex issue by handing a can of the soft-drink to a police officer.
And now it appears that the duo have found themselves in trouble again for launching an “insensitive” t-shirt collection.
