This was the case for Wrestling’s power couple John Cena and Nikki Bella. The much-loved pair announced that they were separating back in April – mere weeks days before their planned wedding. The separation was the result of John’s unwillingness to have a child.

What made this split so shocking was that John had been honest with Nikki about the fact that he didn’t want to get married or have children from the beginning of their relationship. While he changed his mind on the former, he remained adamant about the latter.

Almost two months on from their separation, a heartbroken John has seemingly changed his mind about having children now that he’s experienced what life without Nikki is like. The emotional revelation was made in this week’s episode of Total Bellas.

“I wanna marry you and relationships and marriage especially is about sacrifice, and I will make that sacrifice for you. I will give you a child,” he said while the pair discussed the future of their relationship during a candlelit dinner.

Despite this revelation, John then implied that there was a physical reason why he couldn’t have children.
