If you’re anything like me, you’re guilty of loving your pet just a bit too much.

When you become this fanatical, it becomes unlikely that your friends ever see you without your furry friend in tow, and you’re often accused of being more committed to your pet’s happiness than that of your boyfriend or girlfriend’s. But in all honestly, there is nothing better than having a furry companion in life. Pets can simply be so much better than humans for a myriad of reasons: they’re basically bound to you for life, they (tend to) unconditionally love you, and most importantly, they can’t talk.

Animals not being able to talk is a true blessing, as it lets you off the hook in a lot of ways. I mean, how bad would you feel if your pet could voice how annoyed or upset they were at you for forgetting to take them for a walk. Now that would be truly heartbreaking.

But this clearly wasn’t the case for Jennifer Lawrence this past week, in fact, if her beloved dog, Pippi could talk, it would have made one paparazzo’s life, a lot easier…
