There are few things more difficult to come to terms with than the breakdown of a marriage. And it certainly doesn’t make things much easier if this marriage happens to be a beloved Hollywood pairing.

When your entire world is placed under a spotlight, going through any big change is a battle in itself.

And to top it all off, these celebs have to go through with the divorce proceedings knowing full well that the public have been waiting for their marriage to fail since the day they said, “I do”.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are one of the most high-profile couples to get divorced this year. It was back in February 2018 that the pair announced they had separated after two and a half years of marriage.

The couple – who began dating in 2011 – made the split public in a statement to the Associated Press, released through Jen’s rep. The decision to separate “was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year.”

And no, this doesn’t mean Brad and Jen are ever getting back together:

They chose to announce the split via a statement, which read:

“In an effort to reduce any further speculation. Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another.”

Jennifer and Justin also claimed they would remain “two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.”

The announcement of the split came not long after Jennifer’s 49th birthday, which they spent apart.

While it’s true that celeb marriages rarely last, it came as a shock to many of us that the loved-up pair – who married in a secret ceremony in their LA home – had succumbed to the same fate of their divorced peers.

Of course, it must have hit Jen pretty hard considering this isn’t her first high-profile divorce (ahem, Brad!)

But the very stoic lady has certainly kept herself busy in the wake of her split from Justin and is currently working on at least three projects.

One of these three projects includes a yet-to-be-named drama based around a morning news show in which she stars alongside Reese Witherspoon.

Then there’s that Netflix comedy Murder Mystery and that other Netflix series where she’ll be playing the President with comic Tig Notaro as her First Lady.

So never let it be said that Jennifer spent her post-separation days wallowing in self-pity, as the always-professional actress had plenty to keep herself occupied.

But now that it’s been almost half a year since the split, she’s decided it’s time to move on. In fact, according to US Weekly, Jennifer Aniston has started dating again.

When you live in Hollywood, you never stay single for long, but it gets even better than that for Jen – she has already found herself in a love triangle.

According to recent reports, two guys are fighting for her affections, and considering what a beauty she is, it’s not really that difficult to believe.

And not to mention the fact she was Rachel Green in Friends for god’s sake!

So who are these guys? Well, one of them is a “tech titan” as described by US Weekly, and it was a friend who introduced the pair.

“He recently split from his wife and is trying to win over Jen,” the source said.

The second “is an industry creative she met when they started working on a project together several months ago,” another source said.

Both the tech titan and the industry creative aren’t exactly her usual types but her friends are thrilled that she’s getting back out there on the dating scene.

“They can hardly keep it a secret when they’re so happy to see Jen moving on,” a source said.

Of course, Jennifer is wary about going into a relationship far too readily, something which will probably serve well her in the long-run.

“As strong as Jen is, she tends to be very wary of new people,” a source said. “It normally takes a while for her to open up and trust someone.”

Well, we can only hope that Jen is doing well and that she makes her own happiness a priority. And if that means finding someone else to settle down with, then so be it.
