13 Nov Jason Momoa Has Been Obsessed With His Wife Since He Was Just Eight Years Old

No one knows when they will meet their soulmate. Whilst some lucky people stumble across ‘the one’ early in life, the majority of us have to spend more than a few tearful nights consoling ourselves with Ben & Jerry’s before we finally find love.

As people, we are constantly changing, and most of us can attest to looking back at our past relationships and cringing. “What did I ever see in them?” But, in very rare instances, people fall in love when they’re just children and end up getting married.

One of these people is Jason Momoa, who rose to fame on Game of Thrones. The hunky actor initially repulsed audiences with his portrayal of the brutish Dothraki Khal Drogo, but we got to see a softer side to him when he fell in love with Daenerys.

When Khal Drogo’s untimely death took place at the end of season one, audiences were heartbroken that Daenerys had lost her “shekh ma shieraki anni” (“my sun and stars”), and, until season seven, it looked like she would never fall in love again.

Daenerys wasn’t the only person to be charmed by Khal Drogo. Off screen, Momoa is a pretty awesome guy, and fans of the show went wild when he met up with Emilia Clark, who plays Daenerys, last week after becoming friends in 2011.

Despite never appearing on the show together, Momoa is also friends with another familiar Game of Thrones‘ face, and he’s developed an incredible bromance with another one of the show’s most hunky actors Kristofer Hivju, who plays Tormund Giantsbane.

Now the actor has hit the headlines by opening up about his fairytale romance with his actress wife Lisa Bonet. In a recent interview, the Game of Thrones star revealed that he fell in love with her when he was just eight years old.
