Since moving to Los Angeles to host The Late Late Show in 2015, Corden has managed to transform himself from a D-list British star to an A-list Hollywood icon. Along the way, he has been supported by a hoard of loyal fans who can’t find fault with the larger-than-life comedian.

But, whilst he may have made many friends in the industry, the 39-year-old talk-show host has also made a lot of enemies.

It only got worse for the charismatic comedian when former Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher, called him a “k**bhead” in an interview with GQ magazine.

Rather awkwardly, Gallagher appeared on The Late Late Show shortly afterward to promote his new album. “That’ll be awkward,” the rock and roll star told BBC Radio 2, before adding: “I ain’t singing in no car. I refuse to do it, I’m not doing it, mate. I’ll sing the tunes, then I’m out of there.”
