23 Jun It’s 10 Years since the First Gossip Girl Episode Aired, Here’s What the Cast Looks like Now 

For many adults who came of age in the Noughties, the very mention of Gossip Girl is enough to propel them into a black hole of nostalgia. Gossip Girl certainly gripped the attention of young girls and boys across the globe with its rather unrealistic portrayal of affluent youngsters leading lives of luxury in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I for one remember being mesmerised watching them holiday in multi-million dollar villas in the Hamptons, dress in head-to-toe designer apparel and throw regular slumber parties with the help of manicurists, masseuses and make-up artists to boot.

We all lived vicariously through Dan, Serena, Blair, Nate and Chuck and their gang of cronies, supporting them as they conducted epic takedowns of their foes to when they all had a role to play in a certain royal wedding… But what many of us miss the most is the headbands. After all, only Blair Waldorf could have the power to not only make headbands acceptable but actually cool.
