15 Aug “Instagram Husband” Goes To Ridiculous Lengths To Ensure His Girlfriend Has The Hottest Account Online

Imagine being so totally and utterly dedicated to your partner that you’d do absolutely anything to put a smile on their face. You’d go to the moon and back for them, just because you care deeply for them. We all have someone like that in our lives, right? But what if you were prepared to do just about anything for your partner, even if it meant making yourself look utterly ridiculous in the process?

Well, when 24-year-old Puerto Rican native Gabriel Martinez Rivera took his beloved girlfriend, Paola Pentón González, on a romantic getaway to the British Virgin Islands, he went to ridiculous lengths to make sure her Instagram page featured the best vacation pics imaginable, and he did it in the best way possible…

These days, it seems Instagram can make or break anybody. The photo-sharing site has made countless “Instagram celebs” who have made millions from their perfect images via sponsorship deals. In addition, the app’s filters that make us mere mortals look so good that I dread the thought of anybody looking at my face without a Valencia or X-Pro II filter to hide the blemishes.

What made the couple’s vacation extra special was the fact that it’s actually a Puerto Rican tradition to make a summer trip to the British Virgin Islands; and what better way to celebrate a tradition than commemorating the trip with photos with your loved ones?

However, after seeing the “behind-the-scenes” images of many of González’s photos, the internet has erupted in laughter, criticism and jealousy, questioning why anyone would go to such ridiculous lengths for a trivial Instagram post.

You’d think by the sheer number of photos González took of Rivera that he was a professional photographer on a paid modelling shoot! “He’s no photographer, but he takes great pictures,” González said about her dedicated beaux. And sure, the final pictures did turn out great, and Rivera sure does a great job posing in them. But would you go this far for a social media post?

I mean, would you risk your wellbeing and hang off a BOAT just to get the perfect image of your girlfriend in a bikini?
