There’s a lot of NSFW things that moms are completely clueless about. Now that we are well into the era of the smartphone, many of our sweet and innocent moms have finally got the hang of texting, and they’ve realized that there’s a whole other language out there!

Whilst it’s one thing to confuse LOL for meaning “Lots of Love”, it’s another to accidentally use a NSFW phrase in a text that’s supposed to show the lovingness we associate with our moms – who still worry about us long after we’ve flown the nest and gone into the big bad world.

This is exactly what happened to 23-year-old Grace, who works in advertising in Boston. Her mom, a nurse, sent her a text warning her to be safe in the cold weather. I’m sure we’ve all received similar messages from concerned parents at some point, but nothing quite like this…

Needless to say, Grace was shocked when she read the text and realized that her mom must have picked the phrase up somewhere. After all, it made absolutely no sense in the context of the message.

“I think this is something she might have overheard or seen in a meme and confused it for ‘eating shit,’ and then was trying to be funny when she texted me,” Grace said in an interview with BuzzFeed News.

Like any good daughter, Grace immediately made it clear that the phrase her mom had used in an attempt to be funny was not. It didn’t take long for her mom to discover that she’d made a terrible mistake trying to get down with the kids.
