How Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Honor Princess Diana At Their Wedding

With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding less than two weeks away, Royal-watchers are chomping at the bit for any tidbits of information about the upcoming nuptials. The big day is May 19 and while little has been officially released about the ceremony, we did get some information Friday.

A statement was released by Harry’s Communication’s Secretary, which read that Harry is “keen to involve his mother’s family at his wedding.” This is not surprising since Harry and his late mother were close and he has previously said that she and Meghan would have been “best friends”.

“All three siblings of Diana, Princess of Wales will be in attendance and Lady Jane Fellowes will give the reading,” reveals the statement. “Prince Harry and Ms. Markle both feel honoured that Lady Jane will be representing her family and helping to celebrate the memory of the late Princess on the wedding day.”

Some of Diana’s jewels have been used to create Meghan’s wedding ring, and many are speculating whether or not Meghan will wear one of Diana’s tiaras to walk down the aisle. It seems Harry has thought of many ways to honor his mother’s memory on his big day, and his bride-to-be agrees.
