High School Students Dress Up As Pop Culture Icons For Their Yearbook And It Is Everything

Having your yearbook photograph taken is one of the most nerve-racking experiences of your senior year. I’ll never forget taking three hours to desperately try to make my hair look as good as possible, but the resulting picture was still awful.

Instead of opting for the traditional smile and clean-cut look that most people sport in their yearbook, every year the senior class at Michigan’s North Farmington High does something a little different – they dress up as pop culture icons.

This year they decided to share their incredible emulations on Twitter using the hashtag #NFID18, and the social networking website went wild. I can’t help but feel a little jealous that my yearbook photograph isn’t this cool!

1. She’s channeling teenage angst in the best way possible…

2. This guy is destined for greatness…

3. Someone obviously had to become a meme…

4. There’s few people more iconic than the Wendy’s lady…

It’s been almost seven years since I graduated from high school, and the last time I opened my yearbook, I shuddered in horror not only at my photograph, but the numerous typos my friends had made in my senior quote. Yikes!
