14 Jun Here’s How to Get the Rainbow Flag Emoji on Facebook
For over a year now, we have been able to grace statuses, photos and videos on Facebook with Reactions. Choosing from one of “love”, “wow”, “haha”, “sad” or “angry” (as well as the original recipe “like”), we can now tell all of our friends exactly what we think of their life events without even having to comment, let alone speak to them in real life.
Sometimes, Facebook introduces special edition Reactions to go along with certain moments in the calendar year, like last month’s “thankful” flower that coincided with Mother’s Day in the United States, and now, there’s another special Reaction for the month of June.
The month of June is known as LGBT Pride Month, commemorating the Stonewall Riots in New York City in June 1969, a watershed moment in modern LGBT rights. To commemorate 2017 Pride month, Facebook have released a Rainbow Flag Reaction, but depending on where you are in the world, you might not have the emoji just yet.
With Pride month now in full swing, you’ll want to be able to participate with the Pride Reaction, and as luck would have it, there’s a very simple way to get your rainbow flag emoji right now, for all your LGBT-friendly Facebook interactions.
