14 Jul Heartbreaking Video Captures Dog Saying His Final Goodbye To Dying Owner

We all know that dog is man’s best friend, but the unbreakable bond that is created between people and their dogs is hard to describe. You become so close with your dog that they can usually tell when you’re sad or sick, and there have been countless stories of dogs coming to the rescue when they sense that their owners are in trouble. They are always there for us in times of need, and are often more important in our lives than others may think.

When 33-year-old Ryan Jessen’s life was coming to a tragic end, his family gathered in his hospital room to say goodbye. Ryan had entered the hospital for what he initially thought was a migraine, but turned out to be a ventricular brain hemorrhage. He soon fell into a coma that he wouldn’t wake from, and as his family stood in the hospital they realized that one of Ryan’s best friends was missing: his dog, Mollie.

In the hopes of comforting Ryan in his final moments, as well as letting Mollie know what happened to her owner, they asked the hospital if they could bring her in for one last goodbye. The hospital said it was okay, so they brought Mollie in to have a final farewell with her best friend. A video of their last moments, caught by Ryan’s sister, Michelle, has warmed the hearts of dog-lovers everywhere.
