A harrowing audio clip of the 911 call made by Chester Bennington’s driver has been released.

The phone call reveals that the Linkin Park singer, who hanged himself from a bedroom door in his home on Thursday, was discovered by a distraught housekeeper.

The emergency call was placed by the rock star’s driver, but reportedly the housekeeper can be heard screaming and crying as she breaks the news to Bennington’s wife in the background.

During the 911 call, which was released on TMZ, the driver calmly tells the emergency phone operator: “I just got to the location and his housekeeper came out and said he killed himself … he hung himself.”
