Dating isn’t easy, let’s just agree on that. Though there are a myriad of ostensibly useful apps purporting to help you get a foothold on the dating game, the sad truth is that most seem to use said apps more as a hook up tool than a legitimate search for long term companionship.

If we put such devices to one side as a serious dating tool – and I think we should – then the stark reality is that your options are limited. For the brave and adventurous out there, speed dating is an option, though frankly for many I think the idea as about as appealing as tumbling head first into a vat of mud. Otherwise, actually getting out of the house and meeting people in, you know, real life – though it might seem a rather outmoded concept to the young and technically savvy among us – is probably your best option.

If you are going to bite the bullet and do exactly that, though, a word of advice: limit yourself to one date a night. If you consider yourself such a ladies’ man as to be worthy of dating a plethora of men or women, at least be kind enough to dedicate an evening to each courtship. It’s a lesson this guy learned the hard way.
