When you start a new relationship, the initial feeling of love is overwhelming. You think about your new beau constantly, and more often than not you want to spend all your free time with them. After all, you want the world to know how lovestruck you are.

That’s why people in new relationships tend to take a lot of photographs together. Some will post these adorable snaps on social media, or, if they’re wanting to be more private, send them to friends and loved ones to show just how #RelationshipGoals they are.

But there are some things that should remain between you and your new beau…

But love can have the effect of clouding your judgment, so if you’re sending a photo of your lover to say, a parent, you might want to double check that nothing inappropriate has slipped through the net. Otherwise, you could have a lot of explaining to do.

Twenty-two-year-old Maison Vallance learned this the hard way when he sent what he thought was an innocent and loving photo of his 21-year-old girlfriend Meghan to his doting mom, then realized there was something very risqué in the background.

The pair are from Tennessee and very recently started dating after meeting at a bar that Maison is a regular at. They began talking and hit it off immediately, and the rest, as they say, is history. In fact, it wasn’t long before he introduced his new girlfriend to his mom.

“They get along well,” he said about his girlfriend and mom. “She’s very comfortable with me, and I’m comfortable with her,” he added.

But Maison made a major blunder while in his room with his girlfriend on an otherwise ordinary day.

He had received a text from his mom asking him to find a shirt that she gave him which had his last name on it. He looked for the shirt in his room, and, when he found it, he had Meghan wear it while lying in his bed.

He took a picture of it and sent it to his mom – big mistake!
