08 May Gordon Ramsay Dressed Up As An Old Lady And Looked Exactly Like Mrs Doubtfire

Gordon Ramsay is the world’s most famous foul-mouthed chef. Famed for his angry kitchen outbursts in the name of five-star food, the chef has become a staple of reality TV in the UK and the US thanks to his hit shows Hells Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and Masterchef.

The success of the latter inspired a child-friendly alternative called MasterChef Junior which has been running since 2013. In it, Ramsay is forced to tone down his usual frightening kitchen antics to shape the culinary talents of the future.

In this particular episode, Ramsay dresses up as a terrifying looking grandmother, but he’s not just any grandma. Oh no. He’s channeling Robin Williams’ classic 1993 role as Mrs. Doubtfire – donning a wig, cardigan, glasses, paisley shirt, long red skirt and a pearl necklace.

Needless to say, the young chefs were more than a little amused when they saw Ramsay’s get up as Mrs. Doubtfire as he adjusted his fake breasts and hobbled towards them, with one contestant shouting, “You look like Mrs. Doubtfire!”

However, Ramsay was not alone in dressing up for the grandma-themed episode. His fellow judges Christina Tosi and Joe Bastianich were also in character. Although, I think we can all agree that Ramsay stole the show.

When Ramsay isn’t busy dressing up as old women and helping the young chefs on MasterChef Junior, he’s also got a habit of showing off his kind side on Twitter when young fans get in touch with him to ask for advice.

One fan wrote, “I’m 17 and I really like cooking, though I don’t really know how to cook. I was thinking of pursuing my dream of being a cook but kind of scared of what my dad will think.”

To which Ramsay replied, “Always follow your dreams! Don’t worry I’ll tell your dad!”

You keep doing you, Gordon. Just try not to set your fake boobs on fire. We know you won’t be able to hold your tongue around the kids then…
