It seems like every day now that we hear of a school teacher abusing their position of power by engaging in a sexual relationship with one of their students.

When confessing to a crime via text message or on the internet, people run the risk of their sordid secrets being shared with not only the police but the entire world.

That’s exactly what happened to a 29-year-old English teacher by the name of Caroline Lawson.

In Florida, a 29-year-old English teacher at Lennard High School in Ruskin has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a student.

She has worked at the school since 2014, but according to a report from Fox 13, she had unprotected sex with a 17-year-old student in her home in Tampa last Wednesday.

Text messages sent between Lawson and a friend, who has yet to be identified, are currently under investigation by the authorities. They clearly indicate that she has been in a sexual relationship with one of the students at her school.

“I cheated on [identity has been protected] with a student”

“When you say cheated, do you mean slept with?”

“Yes”
