14 Dec Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock Posts Online Confessional Detailing His Sexual Misconduct
Although it is horrible to admit, we are now accustomed to the slew of sexual misconduct allegations being made. In fact, we are so accustomed to them that it is no longer shocking when it emerges that another high-profile figure has sexually harassed, assaulted or raped someone.
Now 47-year-old Morgan Spurlock has admitted to having engaged in sexual misconduct. He is best known for directing and starring in the 2004 documentary movie Super Size Me. It followed Spurlock for a 30-day period when he only ate food from McDonald’s.
It turns out that Spurlock, who was previously married to Alex Jamieson and is currently married to Sara Bernstein, has a harrowing history of sexual misconduct. Earlier today, he admitted to being “part of the problem” and even confessed to being accused of rape.
In a very candid Twitter post, Spurlock wrote, “I am part of the problem” and attached a lengthy confession to Twitlonger, delving into the serious allegations he had received throughout his life and how he has dealt with them until now.
He confessed to paying off a woman eight years ago in order to settle a sexual harassment allegation and that he has been unfaithful to every single wife and girlfriend he has had. He said he was confessing to his past indiscretions so that he could turn his life around.
Now he wants to be “part of the solution” and has insisted that he is seeking professional help.
He began his explosive confession by writing, “As I sit around watching hero after hero, man after man, fall at the realization of their past indiscretions. I don’t sit by and wonder ‘who will be next?’ I wonder, ‘when will they come for me?’”
