Fatally Injured 19-Year-Old Identifies Her Killers Using Her Last Breath

When it comes to our final moments in life, we all have an ideal way in which we’d like to spend them. Be it going out in a blaze of glory, or with your loved ones by your side, we hope that, if we have a choice, we can do death justice.

However, as with most things in life, it often doesn’t quite happen as we’d imagined. Factors outside of our control often mean that we are left with limited options, and as a result, we have to improvise.

That was the case for 19-year-old Lizette Andrea Cuesta, who managed to provide police officers with details of those responsible for her injuries whilst fighting for her life.

At 2:00 am on Monday morning, Cuesta’s blood-soaked body was discovered by a group of four UPS workers who were carpooling their way to the depot in Livermore, California. Despite her life-threatening injuries, the teen was able to drag herself 100 yards to the side of the road where Richard Loadholt and this three friends found her close to death.

Loadholt quickly called for help, whilst he and his three colleagues waited with Cuesta, who was so soaked in blood that it was impossible to distinguish the color of her hair.

Whilst waiting for the emergency services to arrive, Loadholt and his traveling companions prayed with Cuesta as she fought valiantly to remain conscious. “She laid down for almost three minutes at one period, and we told her to get up. She knew she had to get up and I commend that,” Loadholt told Fox40.
