16 Jun Family Offers Insane Amount of Money for Nanny to Work in ‘Haunted House’  

Being a nanny is a hard job. Looking after kids all day is never easy and when you add the fact that you are likely to encounter ghosts on the daily, the situation becomes a lot more difficult.

A Scottish family, who are looking for a live-in nanny for their two children, are offering an insane amount of money due to strange goings-on within the house.

The house, which is described as a “lovely, spacious, historic property in a remote spot with spectacular views” has been dogged with supernatural occurrences such as moving furniture and strange noises. The last year has seen five nannies leave due to the incidents and the family are now looking for the “right person” to move in.

The big question is: how much are they offering for all of this? The family, who say they have never experienced the ghostly incidents themselves, are willing to offer £50,000 ($63,730) for someone to take the job.

Writing through and advert on childcare.co.uk, the mother stated:

“We were told it was ‘haunted’ when we bought it, but kept our minds open and decided to buy the house regardless.

“Five nannies have left the role in the last year, each citing supernatural incidents as the reason, including strange noises, broken glass and furniture moving. This has obviously been a period of great upheaval for our children.

“We haven’t personally experienced any supernatural happenings, as they have been reported only while we’ve been out of the house, but we’re happy to pay above the asking rate, and feel it’s important to be as up-front as possible to find the right person.”
