Jonny Dean-Hastie and his husband Chris Hastie learned that the hard way when their lively greyhound labrador cross became obsessed with a dildo they’d left lying around.

The four-year-old pup refused to let the sex toy go, despite both Jonny and Chris’ attempt to retrieve it. After several failed attempts to extract the faux penis from Pi, they decided to let him keep it – after all, he’d destroyed all his other toys.

Rather than be shy about Pi’s new plaything, Jonny and Chris embraced it. Soon they found themselves launching the flesh colored toy around their home in Perth, Australia for an eager Pi to catch.

On one of those occasions the dildo, which had been purchased by Chris’ ex-partner several years before, became attached to a door.

“We would throw it through the house for Pi to chase after and one day it hit the back of the door,” Jonny, who originally hails from England, explained. “It was an absolute fluke, the dildo had become suckered to the door and Pi ran over and tried to pull it off.”
