29 Jun Explosive New Book “Reveals” Scandalous Secrets About The Queen’s Sex Life

Throughout her 66 year reign, Queen Elizabeth II has remained remarkably dignified at all times, despite a great deal of scandal which has threatened the throne on many occasions.

Her resolute attitude and dedication to her people have cemented the 92-year-old monarch as one of the most celebrated crown-bearers of all time.

This status ensures that very few people ever dare to disrespect the Queen, who took to the throne in 1953 after the unexpected and premature death of her father, King George VI.

At the tender age of 25-years-old, Queen Elizabeth, known as Lilibet to her friends and family, was sworn in to arguably one of the highest positions in the world. By her side was her loyal husband, Prince Phillip, whom she’d married six years earlier in a highly publicized ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

At the time of her accession to the throne, the Queen already had two children. Her heir apparent, Prince Charles and a daughter, Princess Anne.

But, whilst the young couple may have appeared blissfully happy and perfectly composed to the outside eye, they allegedly suffered some serious marital issues.

Their turbulent union has most recently been documented in Netflix’s hit series, The Crown, which portrays Prince Phillip as a womanizing party animal who struggles to deal with his position as the Queen’s sidekick, a position he deems unmasculine and demeaning.

Since its premiere, the show has received a great deal of criticism from royalists who find its portrayal of the Queen and Prince Phillip to be distasteful and wholly untruthful.

However, according to a new book released by Lady Colin Campbell, the storyline may alarmingly accurate – quite a sensational claim given that the entertainment industry is known for dramatizing real events for the pleasure of the audience.

Could it be that all of the scandalous scenarios in The Crown are actually true? And not just the poetic license of the show’s writers and directors?

Well, according to Lady Colin Campbell, things are just as sordid as they seem on the screen.

In her new book, creatively titled The Queen’s Marriage, the fame-hungry socialite delves deep into the private life of one of the world’s most beloved couples.

Lady Colin Campbell has previously written several books on the Royal Family, including the 1992 New York Time’s Best Seller, Diana In Private: The Princess Nobody Knows and the 2012 book, The Queen Mother: The Untold Story of Elizabeth Bowes Lyon, Who Became Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. However, her latest release is set to be her most outrageous…

In the book, which is being called “lurid” and “tawdry” by most critics, Lady Campbell claims that the Queen has a “healthy” sex drive and that Prince Phillip is a flirt.

The 68-year-old former wife of the 11th Duke of Argyll – whom she’d known for only five days before tying the knot in 1974 – then goes on to claim that the Queen and Prince Phillip enjoyed an intense evening together on their wedding night. In fact, their lovemaking was allegedly so passionate it alerted the attention of their servants who then talked about it for days.

Moving on to discuss Prince Phillip’s allegedly flirtatious personality, the former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! contestant writes: “From childhood until the present time, he has surrounded himself with attractive, preferably adoring, women. He is raunchy, he is a naval officer.”

 “He loves the company of beautiful women. He’s a huge flirt. I don’t know any pretty girl he hasn’t flirted with. He’s flirted with me before. He’s never said anything untoward, he’s just flirtatious. The sort of thing he says is, ‘You’re looking good tonight’, but he is a flirt.

“The Queen didn’t mind at all. She gave him free rein to have Cavalier Servente — where you have friendships with the opposite sex, which are very close. To Philip they were like pets, they were his playthings. He even called them his playmates, they shared physical activities like carriage driving, and interests.

It is a constructive way of keeping him occupied and entertained.”

Clearly not satisfied that she has divulged enough of the Royal Family’s most intimate details, Lady Campbell continues to add that, according to Princess Margaret, the Queen’s sister, Prince Phillip once had an affair to spite his wife.

Unsurprisingly, the book has caused outrage amongst those loyal to the Queen. Her former butler, Paul Burrell, who has also appeared on the reality show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, claims to be disgusted by the book.

Talking to The Daily Mirror, he said:

“Anyone can make up these claims. You can only be a true, ­reliable witness to history if you are there. Lady Colin Campbell was none of those things. She is writing about our Head of State, our Head of Church and someone who she does not know. She is writing about someone who she is not familiar with.

I stood beside her and lived with her for 11 years and I can tell you who the Queen is. She is a good, kind Christian lady and she should not be defiled in this way because she is above that. She has earned our respect as a nation and things like that should not be written.”

The Queen’s former press secretary, Dickie Arbiter, also came to his former employer’s defense when quizzed about the book. “I will not dignify anything Lady Colin Campbell writes or says with a comment,” he said, quite simply.

Meanwhile, Lady Campbell has no shame about the tell-all book.

“They know I am honest and they’ve known about this book for a while,” the Jamaica-born socialite explains. “What I have written stands the test of time and if it’s going to come out it may as well come out through somebody who is even-handed and balanced, and has no anti-Monarchist agenda.”

Well, I suppose that makes it all okay then!

Turning the Queen’s private life into an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians is not what one does!
