Over the years, we’ve had our fair share of celebrity divorces. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes as well as Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are two that come to mind, and I’m still not over the split of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who will be known as Brangelina no more.

The latest heartbreaking celebrity split happened late last Sunday, and it involved a couple that I certainly thought was going to go the distance in movie stars Anna Faris and Chris Pratt.

Having spent eight years of marriage (four of those with their four-year-old son Jack), the sudden announcement sent social media into a frenzy, and while many are mourning the dissolution of one of Hollywood’s favourite couples, others are wondering what exactly occurred to bring about Pratt and Faris’ legal separation.

Online, some people are putting it down to infidelity on the part of Chris Pratt, and one prominent Hollywood actress is seen as the prime suspect.
