Respecting the law is a must in every country around the world. And certainly, when confronted with a police officer, you should be complying with their demands, unless you are looking to receive a lengthy jail sentence.
However, with endless stories of cops unnecessarily shooting unarmed citizens, this story probably won’t do much to give you hope that the struggle between citizens and the police is coming to an end.
Indeed, alarming footage of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle hitting a police officer in Time Square has gone viral.
The video, captured last Saturday at about 11:30 pm on a cell phone, shows the motorist driving through on a busy street with a thick trail of smoke following behind.
The car then reaches an intersection and stops in front of the renowned military recruiting station. After which, an NYPD officer can be seen walking toward the car with his arms stretched out in a bid to warn the driver to stop right there.
However, the daring driver refuses to comply with the cop, puts his foot on the gas and slams into him.
The cop falls down to the ground after losing his balance and the car speeds away on Seventh Avenue.

But now in an unexpected turn of events, the man who filmed the video is blaming the NYPD officer for the entire affair.
