Former businessman Donald Trump might have been elected president, but it’s safe to say that he’s the most divisive leader of the free world in modern history. While some love his outspoken opinions, others loathe his stance on a variety of issues.

Unlike his predecessor Obama, Trump has not used his position to help minority groups. In fact, he’s caused some people to feel even more marginalized in American society – namely members of the LGBTQ+ community, refugees and women.

So when Mandy Manning won the United States’ “Teacher of the Year” award, she decided to use it as an opportunity to make her less than favorable opinion of President Trump clear by gloriously trolling him and what made it so brilliant was that he didn’t even notice.

Manning is an English language development teacher at Joel E. Ferris High School’s Newcomer Center in Spokane, Washington. This is not just any school, but one which specializes in the education of refugees and immigrants – the two groups of people Trump hates the most.

And as he handed over Manning’s award, he had no idea that she was silently trolling him.
