25 Sep Donald Trump Has Now Included Even More Countries To The US Travel Ban
When Donald Trump promised to “make America great again”, he also vowed to also “make America safe again”. How was a man with little to no political experience able to guarantee such an extreme promise?
Well, just seven days after being elected President of the United States, he implemented Executive Order 13769, which quickly became known in the mediaas the ‘Muslim Ban’, due to the fact that the order placed travel restrictions on citizens of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. In the chaos that ensued after the ban was put in place, 700 travelers were detained and up to 60,000 visas were “provisionally revoked”.
Quickly, thousands of American citizens rallied at airports across the country to protest against the ban, which caused major disruption. In light of the extreme unrest across the country, and several legal issues with the order, the ‘travel ban’ was challenged in court.
The order was redrafted, and tensions began to calm considerably. However, today, Trump reignited the fury of the American people when he further tormented North Korea, by slapping travel restrictions on the unstable dictatorship…
Trump has hit the headlines continuously since he was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. However, it is his recent war of words with North Korea, notably via Twitter, that is causing the most concern.
