11 Jul Disturbing Video Shows Airbnb Host Push Guest Down Stairs In Heated Argument
We all dread getting charged for a late checkout when on holiday. The fee tends to be eye-watering and we end up having to use our credit cards to take the hit. However, while we all expect the damage to only have an impact on our funds for the next few weeks, we don’t expect it to be physical. Shockingly, for South African filmmaker, Sibhale Nkumbi, the pain of a late checkout from her Airbnb in Amsterdam was physical, as she was pushed face first down the stairs by the landlord of the property.
The Airbnb host, who can be heard repeatedly yelling “out” as he throws a suitcase and some clothes out of the room, decides to physically manhandle the filmmaker as tensions boil. He begins to push Ms Nkumbi towards the stairs and as she tries to resist him, she can be heard saying “Oh my God” while standing over the staircase, panicking.
The landlord continues to push Nkumbi and she appears to lose her footing on the top step. With nothing but a flat wall to try and grasp at, she slides down the stairs head first with her face hitting both the wall and the floor, before lying motionless at the bottom of the staircase.
