Cruel Snowmobilers Chase Terrified Bear, But It Nearly Costs Them Their Lives

Ever heard the expression, “If you play with fire, you’re going to get burned”? Well, this is a perfect example of that metaphor coming into practice.

There are some things in life that you just don’t do. Whether it’s down to instinct, education or common sense, we know that certain activities carry an element of danger and that they should just be avoided if we want to keep all of our limbs. One of these activities is “bear baiting”.

This GoPro footage shows just how close these idiots came to paying the ultimate price, after they disrespected a bear:

“Bear baiting” is a new craze devised by idiotic adrenaline junkies, and involves chasing a circling a bear whilst on a snowmobile, and getting as close as you can to the great beasts without getting hurt. Imagine Spain’s “Running of the Bulls” but on snow…

It involves chasing a scared bear on a snowmobile, to the point where it feels so threatened that it tries to attack. The objective is to get as close to the bear as possible, presumably without dying.

However, in the above, which was captured by “daredevils” on the Kuril Islands of Russia, prove why it’s literally moronic to chase a bear, as they nearly lost their lives as the frustrated bear turns to attack.

Seriously, why would anyone risk their lives in such a cruel and dangerous manner? Isn’t it thrilling enough to just drive around at high speeds on snow?

I can see where the excitement lies in the activity, but in my opinion, anybody who takes enjoyment from intentionally scaring an animal is a c***, and deserves everything they get.
