23 Jan Comedian Steve Brown Is Violently Attacked On Stage During Stand-Up Gig
We’re often told that people in the 21st century have lost their sense of humor and just don’t know how to have a laugh anymore. But if you’re going to willingly attend a stand-up comedy show, you need to be able to take a joke. However, when comedian Steve Harvey targeted an audience member sitting in the front row with his sharp wit, an all-out brawl ensued between the pair.
In response to the attack, which took place at The Comedy House in South Carolina Sunday evening, Steve Brown has responded to his supportive fans.
The incident occurred when the stand-up comedian focused all of his attention on the man because he was sat in the front row looking grumpy.
However, instead of taking a joke, the man then rushed the stage and started to attack Brown in a rage, going as far as to use the microphone stand and bar stool as weapons.
In the video, the two men are seen circling each other, fists raised, as the crowd quickly realizes the laughter has stopped. The enraged audience member then grabs the mic stand, swings for Brown, making contact with his arm.
The rest of the audience can then be heard screaming and shouting, as Brown is forced to defend himself against the brutal attack.
The footage, which was later uploaded to Facebook by an attendee, then shows the ticket-holder throw Brown’s own bar stool at him, which would cause two people to intervene and usher the attack away.
As the man is escorted off stage, he can be heard yelling, “get off me, get off me”.
Unbelievably, the brawler then returns to the stage with his shirt off in a failed attempt to reignite the fight, as a man quickly leads him away from Brown.
