Christina Aguilera, the undeniable queen of pop and everyone’s girl-crush from the early 2000’s, has unfortunately not released an album since the ancient days of 2012. Nobody is more aware of this than her most passionate fans, who have been patiently waiting for Christina to drop some ear-candy for the past five years.

In 2014, the promise of a new Christina Aguilera album felt like it was gaining some movement, when the very pregnant star tweeted a photo of herself in the studio. The hype around the tweet flourished, and fans were genuinely jealous of the unborn baby in Christina’s womb that was getting a “first listen to what mama’s been creating the studio”.

But in the three years since then, there has still been no new music from the Lady Marmalade singer, and her fans are displeased to say the least.
