Chester Bennington’s Son Told His Dad To ‘Love Life’ In Touching Heartbreaking Note Before His Death

As the music world continues to mourn the death of the Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, who took his own life on 20 July, a handwritten letter from his son has re-emerged on social media. The note, which seems even more poignant in the light of Chester’s suicide, tells the father of six to “love life” and makes reference to the Linkin Park song “Castle of Glass”.

The image of the message was posted by Chester’s widow, Talinda Bennington, and was written by his son Tyler a month before the singer’s death. Tyler is one of Chester’s six children, three of whom he had with Talinda, who he was with for 11 years before his tragic death. In the message, Tyler tells his father to enjoy “whatever it is your [sic] doing today”.
