There’s nothing better than hitting the open road with your bestie. You’ve got the tunes blaring, the windows rolled down, and you have nothing to worry about nothing except where you’ll stop to take your next selfie.

Road trips with best friends are epic, and Henry and Baloo think so, too, even though they can’t drive the car, or hold a cellphone to take a selfie. That’s because these besties are a dog and cat.

Owners Cynthia Bennet and her boyfriend first adopted Henry back in 2014. She claims he wasn’t the dog they were looking for, but couldn’t resist him after falling in love at first sight.

“He just curled up into my lap and went belly up and flipped his head over my arm,” she says of Henry. “And from then I decided he was coming home with us.”

Cynthia and her boyfriend are avid hikers and were glad to see that Henry was keen to come along with them on their adventures. Their new furry family member happily climbed over rocks and through narrow paths on a weekly basis.
