Us Brits have a particularly hard time during a heatwave. Being so used to incessant rain, cloudy skies and cold temperatures, we just don’t know what to do with ourselves when the weather is pleasant. More often than not we use the sunny weather as an excuse to strip off and sit in parks but when we’re not doing that you can find us complaining almost constantly about the heat.

Yes, I know, you can never win with us. When it’s cold and miserable, we whine, longing for clear skies and hot weather but when we get it, we still find reasons to complain. We are the worst kind of people.
