Your wedding day is supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life. You’ve met the person you want to grow old with, and now you’re declaring your love for one and another in front of your friends and family.

Weddings take months to plan, and couples painstakingly spend hours ensuring that their big day is perfect. Whether that means sampling hundreds of different types of cake, or saving up for a custom-made wedding dress.

However, life is not perfect, and sometimes the wedding you’ve always dreamt of can’t become a reality. My mom wanted her own wedding dress, but had to borrow her sister’s because she simply couldn’t afford it.

But Nicole Tafoya from Commerce, Michigan had a dream that was a little different from most. Whilst most of us have a favorite animal, Nicole’s love of a certain creature really was next level, and she was determined to have one at her wedding.

In an attempt to make her dream a reality, Nicole did everything in her power to try and rent this animal for her wedding, but to no avail. So she had no option but to accept that her favorite furry friends wouldn’t be there on her big day.
