However, they failed to see a major flaw with the design, which has caused outrage online. Ironically, the company have acknowledged full responsibility for their ill-thought actions…

Usually, an unfortunate design fail can be quite amusing. After all, laughing at the expense of others is what us humans do best. However, when the unfortunate mishap suggests that users of the product engage in sex without consent, it is no laughing matter.

The design, which features a pink frosted doughnut and a message which reads “go further without consent” has caused chaos online and on many university campuses, where the innocent looking condoms were handed out to promote consensual sex to students.

At a quick glance, during the heat of the moment, it would appear that the design is certainly encouraging un-consensual sex. However, reading between the lines, the intended message slowly becomes clearer. Look a little closer, can you decipher the true meaning behind the bizarre design?
