25 Jul Angelina Jolie’s “Zombie Doppelgänger” Surprises Followers With An Eye-Popping New Look
When Angelina Jolie announced her divorce from Brad Pitt in September 2016, she probably thought that it would be the biggest story involving her name for the foreseeable future. After all, what could be more scandalous in the eyes of the public than the demise of Hollywood’s hottest power couple?

However, the Academy-Award winning actress hadn’t anticipated what was to come a little over a year later when an Iranian teenager became a viral sensation due to her remarkably ghoulish resemblance to the Tomb Raider star.
Sahar Tabar became a phenomenon practically overnight when photographs of her cosmetically altered face circulated the world wide web in November 2017. Millions of people were left bemused by the teenager’s sallow skin and warped nose, prompting a great debate on whether or not her plastic surgeons had gone one step too far. Many questioned the legitimacy of Tabar’s dramatic look, with several speculating if the whole thing was a hoax.
Quickly, Tabar became known as Angelina Jolie’s “zombie doppelgänger” after thousands rather morbidly likened her look to that of a deceased Jolie.
Unsurprisingly these comments cut deep with 19-year-old Tabar, who quickly responded to the rumors about her unconventional appearance.
“This is Photoshop and makeup. Every time I publish a photo, I paint my face in an increasingly funny way,” she revealed. “It is a way of expressing yourself, a kind of art. My fans know that this is not my real face.”
“I can see that I have something in common with [Angelina Jolie],” she continued, acknowledging that, naturally, she does bare more than a passing resemblance to the 42-year-old movie icon. “But I amuse myself, and to look like someone is not my goal.”
With that admitted, Tabar’s fame suddenly disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared. However, that didn’t stop the schoolgirl from continuing to edit photographs of herself for Instagram.
With a following of more than 65,000 people on the photo-sharing platform, Tabar clearly still feels as though she has a duty to her fans to deliver her cosmetically and digitally manipulated images.
In recent photographs uploaded to her account, the teen flaunts a new bubblegum pink hairstyle. The vibrant hue is a contrast to her previous dark, black locks.
Of course, it’s not clear if the color change is real or just another stunt carried out by Tabar in order to trick her followers. With her history of online deception, it is anybody’s guess as to whether her hair is genuine or not – and, if it is, it is certainly not the most extreme adaptation that she has made to her appearance!
Tabar’s unique story is certainly proof that you should never believe anything you see online, especially when it comes to Instagram. Because whilst Tabar may be using Photoshop to make herself look like a living zombie, there are plenty of people using it to make them look quite the opposite!
Maybe next time you log onto Instagram, you’ll be a bit more cautious of what you believe is true and what is not!
