12 Apr After Robbing A Drunk Man On The Paris Metro, Thief Is Then Forced To Save His Life

It’s often said that every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. Nowhere is that better epitomized in footage that has recently emerged from the Paris Metro. In it, a thief brazenly robs a drunk man who is sitting semi-conscious waiting for his train, head slumped over.

Sensing the man’s vulnerability, the thief approaches the man and, unbeknownst to him, pockets his wallet before swiftly walking off without raising suspicion.

Seconds after the robbery, the drunk man stands and stumbles towards the train platform. Even though he has managed to coax his legs into working in his drunk state, the same cannot be said of his head…

What happens next is jaw-droppingly surreal and looks like a scene taken from a crime drama, as the thief must act quickly in order to save the life of the man he just saved!

As you will have seen, the man is saved from what would have been a horrendous death by the thief, but what makes the incident so shocking is the fact that the pickpocket was not the only person who saw him fall onto the tracks. Another man witnessed it and did nothing.

While it’s not known if the thief returned the man’s wallet or not, this footage is proof that sometimes even the most unlikely of people can show a surprising amount of humanity when those who we would expect to intervene (namely, the other man on the platform) do nothing.
