Let us introduce Sophia, one of the world’s most advanced robots. She is scarily smart and eerily eloquent, considering that her body consists of nothing but metal and wires.

The humanoid is currently touring the globe, showcasing her endless talents to the horror and amazement of viewers. Awestruck viewers have seen Sophia telling jokes on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and posing for a series of videos with Elle Brazil. She even went up against the TV tyrant, Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain.

However, it was her appearance on ABC News Today that gave viewers goosebumps.

The controversial creation has left people across the world uncomfortable after she made a shocking announcement on the news show, which is broadcast across Australia.

Sophia was created by David Hanson, an American robotics expert who previously worked at Disney. It is Hanson’s belief that the human perception of a robot improves when they appear to look like a human themselves, thus he modeled Sophia’s looks on the iconic face of Audrey Hepburn.

Not only does she look eerily realistic, but Sophia is also spookily intelligent. In fact, her creator believes Sophia is a “genius”, something the humanoid is working to prove as she features on television networks across the world. Her unique interviews have seen her become a global sensation, sadly for all the wrong reasons…
