One of the most difficult realities that each and every one of us is affected by at some point in our lives is the prospect of developing a serious illness, or someone we love developing one. It is especially devastating when that illness turns out to be terminal.
One mother with terminal cancer shares her final wish for her children on Dr. Phil:

Unfortunately, young children are certainly not exempt from developing terminal conditions, either.
Eight-year-old Aaron Hunter from Scotland, for instance, was born with a rare condition called ROHHAD (Rapid-Onset Obesity with Hypothalamic Dysfunction, Hypoventilation, and Autonomic Dysregulation). This causes children who were previously healthy to rapidly gain weight and leads them to develop severe breathing difficulties.
Robert Downey Jr. spent last Saturday hanging out with the terminally ill boy in order to fulfill one of his biggest dreams of meeting Iron Man.
