1. A change of heart

“I am a cam model and my parents were very upset at first but became supportive when they realized how much this job did for me. I was able to quit the job that I hated so much, I was able to pay cash to go back to school, I was able to help them with money when they needed it once, and they also just realized I was 22 and could do what I wanted if I truly wanted to do it. It’s very nice to have supportive parents. I understand the natural concerns, though. This is different from what you asked considering I’m not a parent and I’m on the other side of the question but I wanted to contribute my experience.

Edit to add: I also think they were accepting because they know I enjoy this. It gives me time to study as much as I need to, and I genuinely enjoy it. When you cam, you start to look forward to talking to your members everyday when you’re on and it almost becomes sort of a little family lol. It’s just fun! It’s not for everyone and does require a lot of time to build up a loyal audience but for those who enjoy it and put in the work, it has many benefits.” – missmarissaaa
