Dear old Donald can’t seem to catch a break with regard to explosive stories about his past. It appears that the commander in chief has a lot of skeletons hanging in his gilded gold closet – skeletons which are slowly coming back to life, revived by Trump’s presidential victory.

Despite being one of the most powerful men in the world, the 71-year-old POTUS has been unable to fend off a flurry of accusations about his sexual exploits. From porn star Stormy Daniels to former The Apprentice contestant Summer Zervos, to Playmate Karen McDougal, women are starting to creep out of that closet and into the spotlight.

Of course, Trump’s past indiscretions were no secret. After that taped conversation with Billy Bush confirmed his seedy side, there was no question that the New York-born millionaire used his power and money to bed beautiful women, despite being married.

However, the extent of his philandering wasn’t truly revealed for all to see until former Playboy model, Karen McDougal came forward to expose intimate details of her 10-month affair with the businessman-turned-politician. In an intense interview (better described as borderline interrogation) with CNN, the 1998 Playmate of the Year told all about Trump.

Before becoming a Playboy model, McDougal taught pre-kindergarten, but her life dramatically changed when she entered a swimsuit competition and won. Nicknamed “Barbie” in high school for her good looks and sweet attitude, McDougal was destined for stardom in the glamor modeling industry.

Shortly after her swimwear competition success, McDougal became Playboy‘s “Miss December 1997”. The following May she was chosen by Hugh Hefner and Playboy fans as the 1998 Playmate of the Year, which included a $100,000 paycheck and a silver convertible car.

By 2001, McDougal was ranked by Playboy readers in the “Sexiest Playmate of the ’90s” poll – in which, she placed second behind Pamela Anderson. But whilst these accolades may be what she is most proud of, it’s her alleged 2006 affair with Donald Trump that is what she is now most known for.
