Stranger Things was a huge hit for Netflix when it was first released back in 2016. After all, who can resist a throwback show that’s basically like The Goonies meets E.T.? I know everyone who grew up in the 80s and 90s absolutely loved the show, but it also turned out to be a big hit with the younger generations as well.

While many of us started throwing Stranger Things Halloween parties over the last couple of years, many kids were having themed birthday parties, dressing up as Eleven or Mike Wheeler. One eight-year-old named Aaron Alambat had an incredible Stranger Things birthday and definitely pulled out all the stops.

His cake and decor were on point, and he even had “Demogorgon blood” to drink! The only problem? No one showed up.

His sister Ayen tweeted photos from the would-be party and called out his brother’s “punk” friends for the no-show.

She wrote, “My brother invited 8 of his classmates for his stranger things themed bday party & none of their punk selves showed up.”

The post quickly went viral with many Twitter users showing support for Aaron, or sharing their own stories of terrible birthdays. Of course, the best comment of all came from none other than Millie Bobby Brown, who stars at Eleven on the show.
