If You Type These Words Into Facebook’s Search Bar, Be Prepared To Find Disturbing Material

Facebook is one of the most successful social networking websites on the world wide web. It allows us to share our thoughts, feelings, opinions, photos, and events with our nearest and dearest, and, let’s be honest, sometimes with a complete bunch of strangers.

It’s a pretty useful tool and is constantly being modified in order to make it increasingly user-friendly and, of course, to attract newer audiences.

But it’s certainly not without its many problems. In fact, recently, Facebook was forced to remove certain offensive and sexually suggestive terms from their search bar.

You can also manually remove other kinds of search suggestions yourself:

After typing the word “video of…”, Facebook users were confronted a series of crude and explicit terms.
