Macaulay Culkin Posts Bizarre Tweets About ‘Playing With Himself’ During The Oscars

The Oscars are a predictable event. Before the ceremony kicks off, all eyes are on what Tinsel Town’s biggest names are wearing and then, after witnessing at least one fashion faux pas, we wait with baited breath to see the winners and sit through one too many emotional speeches.

The event has become an opportunity for stars to get the world talking about important issues (although we imagine Emma Watson’s regretting the grammatical error on her “Time’s Up” tattoo this morning), and one star decided to steal the show from the comfort of his own home.

The star in question was Hollywood veteran and former child actor Macaulay Culkin – a man now known for his brilliant sense of humor.

Check out the video below to see Culkin mocking the role that made him a household name:

Culkin announced to his 43 thousand Twitter followers last night that he would be providing commentary on the Oscars without actually watching the event – asking them for suggestions for things that he could do instead of watching the esteemed ceremony.

This is the second time that Culkin has hit the headlines in recent weeks. While being interviewed on The Tonight Show by Jimmy Fallon, he finally weighed in on a question that has been bothering fans of Home Alone for years. Why didn’t Kevin just call the cops?

“This kid’s a really clever kid right?” Culkin asked Fallon. “Like these guys are about to break in, why doesn’t he just call the cops? He makes a master plan, he uses micromachines, but for real, there are landlines – there are no cell phones, but still.”

True to the style of Kevin, Culkin got very creative when it came to finding alternative things to do instead of watching the Oscars…
