There are pretty stringent standards when it comes to the physical characteristics of a star. Certain facial shapes and body types are preferred, and this has resulted in some of the world’s biggest stars being mistaken for other people – even at the height of their fame.

1. Jamie Pressly And Margot Robbie

These actresses are so similar facially that they could easily be each other’s stunt double. Even if Pressly or Robbie was to dye their hair black, they would still look alike because of their almost identical facial features.

In fact, they are so similar that one observer refused to believe that they are not the same person, remarking, “Until someone proves they have been seen in the same place, I refuse to believe otherwise.”

2. Travis Barker And Carey Hart

Drummer Travis Barker and motorcycle racer Carey Hart are both rocking the bad boy look. They’re also both big fans of tattoos, which has caused many people in the media to get them mixed up. The Ellen Show‘s red carpet Grammy arrivals piece misidentified Carey as Travis. Thankfully, Hart’s wife, P!nk, found it hilarious, tweeting, “Hahaha OMG @TheEllenShow oops.”

3. Katy Perry And Zooey Deschanel

Despite looking remarkably similar and having a reputation for being quirky, Deschanel is not happy that she is frequently mistaken for Perry.

“It’s a little bit annoying, to be totally blunt,” Deschanel said. “The only similarity that we have is that we look a little bit alike. I have met her before. She seems like a nice person. I’m happy that she’s famous enough now that she’s not going out and being mistaken for me.”
