You’d be lying if you said that at some point in your life you haven’t made a rather foolish bet. It’s something we are all guilty of to varying degrees. But whether you have put some hard earned cash on the line, or simply your dignity, it’s never easy to accept the result when you lose. On the other hand, when you win, the feeling is euphoric.

In your youth, the bets you make can have some severely questionable outcomes. For example, in my younger years, I agreed to have my eyebrows shaved off if the England rugby team didn’t win the World Cup in 2015 (I’ll save you a Google: they lost, pretty diabolically).

But once an adult, these juvenile risks are quickly replaced by a mild sense of responsibility. That is unless you’re Tom Hardy and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Despite being two of the entertainment industry’s most bankable stars, both having played a range of celebrated characters, the duo are best known for their down-to-earth nature. If you didn’t know any better you could easily mistake them for two average guys.

The fact that they have their names on some of the world’s most recognizable movie posters, from Titanic to The Dark Knight Rises, doesn’t seem to have any effect on the pairs childish behavior. Take, for example, a bet that they made whilst on the set of the 2015 blockbuster hit, The Revenant.
