26 Jan Plumber Pretends To Be A Gynecologist And No One At Hospital Notices

Medical professionals have one of the most important jobs in the world. When we are sick, we have no option but to rely on them to help us get better and trust that their diagnoses are correct – as much as it is tempting to consult “Doctor Google”.

Now, it has emerged that a Russian plumber was successfully able to pose as a gynecologist and examine over 100 people!

The 31-year-old in question, named as Anton Yarin, arrived at Pervouralsk city hospital for a job interview as a plumber, but while there, he changed into a lab coat and began claiming that he was a gynecologist, a surgeon, and an A&E medic.

While working as a gynecologist, Yarin also had the opportunity to examine at least one child.

According to reports in Russian media, none of the patients he worked with lodged complains against the imposter, and, horrifyingly, it took staff at the hospital “several days” to realize that their newest member of staff was not what he claimed to be.

“He wandered around the hospital with impunity pretending to be a qualified doctor,” a Russian newspaper reported.
