22 Jan Morgan Freeman Calls Out Rude Guest For Talking During His SAG Awards Acceptance Speech
Morgan Freeman is one of the most well-respected actors out there, and his career-defining roles over the decades have really shown him to be a cut above the rest. Classics like Lean On Me and The Shawshank Redemption have moved audiences around the world to tears, and as an actor that’s probably the biggest compliment you can get.
This past Sunday night at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, movie buffs and peers from around the world will have watched the well-deserved moment that Freeman was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
For more than 50 years, the Screen Actors Guild have awarded veteran actors “for outstanding achievement in fostering the finest ideals of the acting profession.”
The likes of Dick Van Dyke, Shirley Temple, and Betty White have been honored with the award in the past, but yesterday, the legend that is Morgan Freeman finally had his chance to shine.
And what better way to deliver a speech for a Lifetime Achievement Award than in an authentically wise-sounding Morgan Freeman voice? Unfortunately, his highly anticipated speech didn’t quite go to plan, and one “heckler” in the audience was to blame for that.
