18 Jan Flight Attendant Wishes Passenger A Happy Birthday, But Then Her Boyfriend Makes His Own Announcement

We all know what to expect from a routine flight: Cramped seats, mediocre meals, and flight attendants pointing at the emergency exits “here, here, and here”.

Yes, once the charm of flying has worn off after your first few times in the air, boarding a plane can become as standard as boarding a subway train or a taxi. That’s why many flight attendants will go out of their way to make sure every passenger on their flight feels as special as possible. After all, flights can be long and very, very boring.

For one woman, she was surprised by a mid-flight birthday celebration after the male flight attendant invited her to the front of the plane after singing a lovely rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’.

Understandably confused by the bizarre protocol for in-flight birthdays, the woman happily joins the flight attendant at the front of the plane, where he continues to ask her several questions.

After asking the birthday girl who she’s flying with, she explains that she’s with her boyfriend Martin, who embarrassingly shuffles out of the toilet behind them.

The flight attendant then hands the PA over to Martin, who proceeds to make a jaw-dropping announcement at 20,000 feet, that left the passengers in shock and his girlfriend in tears.
